— Maintenance Detail —
This is a treatment that I offer usually following a higher level of treatment. However, I also offer this detail to my customers as a starting point and a way of introducing myself.
This detail is one that can be arranged with the customer after I have carried out a higher level detail such as a protection detail, enhancement detail, correction detail or ultimate detail as a way of preserving the finish that was achieved. I can carry out this detail on a monthly basis or every 6 months even annually it all depends on your requirements.
To maintain the flawless finish on your vehicle requires the right products and the correct technique, basically it all comes down to the washing process. The incorrect washing technique will result in the unsightly presence of swirls, holograms, marring, oxidisation and so on. Therefore I will carry out a maintenance detail so that your vehicle doesn't accumulate these defects and your vehicle maintains its finish.
The Process step by step
- Alloy wheels cleaned using a safe non acid wheel cleaner and various brushes to reach all areas, rinsed
- Arches cleaned using degreaser and APC (all purpose cleaner) and various brushes
- The Vehicle is then blanketed in PH Neutral cleansing foam for its pre wash (which softens and lifts grit dirt and grime)
- Thoroughly rinsed
- Door shuts, boot, fuel filler cap are cleaned using APC and various brushes
- Then washed using the 2 bucket method with grit guards and various wash mitts
- Thoroughly rinsed
- Then washed using the 2 bucket method with grit guards and various wash mitts
- Thoroughly rinsed
- Vehicles paintwork and glass clay barred to remove bonded contaminants (including door shuts)
- Fully dried using 'deep pile' microfiber drying towels
- Once dry a quick detailing spray is applied to the paintwork to add gloss and most importantly protect your vehicle
- Exterior and interior glass cleaned with a specific glass cleaner
- Trim cleaned and dressed, exhaust polished
- The interior is thoroughly vacuumed. Thoroughly cleaned and treated. To finish, the interior is sprayed with a freshener that rapidly counteracts odours and leaves a longlasting refreshing fragrance.
